Marc Adamus of Corvallis, Oregon, USA, was awarded 2007 Grand Prize for his photo Winter Fury. Adamus’s image topped a collection of more than 2,100 photographs from 27 countries submitted to the 12th annual competition.

Photography Competition Tour

Each year, the winning images from the Photography Competition are showcased in various locations throughout North America, including Denver, Montreal, Revelstoke, Boone, Berkeley, Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, Sun Valley, Portland (Oregon), and Bangor.

Banff Adventure Photography Workshop

September 12 - 16, 2008 (details available early Spring 2008)

This is your chance to work alongside a National Geographic photographer in an outdoor setting and take your photography to a whole new level! Intense and interactive seminars with award-winning adventure photographers will be interspersed with field work and critique.
